This is my sister Tamara’s fresh tat. So I asked her why she got it, she replied, “there’s some beauty in morbidity. not all beauty is on the surface. and look at her..she’s awesome!”
By the way, this tattoo won Tattoo of the Day at NIX 2011, it was done by Ryan at Pleasure and Pain Ink in Mississauga, Ont.

I got this tattoo November 27, 2010. My best friend, James Taaffe did this. It took about four and half hours with only a couple breaks.
There really is no significance, but the art work is beautiful. Traditional, bold lines, and bright colors.

I didn’t realize what a dumb question that was until this morning.
Of course it’s real, stupid. Why would I have a giant fake tattoo visible, just to tell everyone that it’s fake? That would be so lame.
I actually (mildly) suffered for my ink. Psh.

My newest tattoo on my left forearm by the amazing Sam Rulz. I got her for my mum, which is why she’s baking as my mum is an amazing cook. All of her tattoos are things for my mum as well: the koi on her leg because mum’s a pisces, cherries on her ribs as they’re her favourite fruit, a telephone because she works for a suicide phoneline, the word mum in a heart, a rose, a book and a cup of tea. I absolutely love it and can’t wait to be tattooed by Sam again - I’ll be getting some for my dad next time. Luckily my mum loves it too!
