I added many more items to my store today! Please feel free to check them out, and let me know what you think. :)
I have been on hiatus for a long time. Apologies, all. Student teaching does that to you. Free time is hard to come by, but I am itching to return to normal posting eventually!
I knitted a scarf for myself! It’s a triangle scarf, and it only covers my neck. If I made a normal scarf, it would have been much longer, but also would have taken longer to knit.
I found the pattern on Cornflower Blue Studio’s website, and it’s located on this page as a free pattern. It’s super easy to follow, but be warned - it seriously takes forever with tiny needles. Very worth it though.
The yarn is one of my favorite colors. It’s a golden yellow, but if you look closely at it in person, it has orange and green in it. It reminds me of the 1970’s and the “ugly” colors that were popular then.

This is my friend’s Etsy store. She makes cool hats, scarves, bows, and owls with skill and love. So go make her day, and get something useful before fall/winter hits!
THANK YOU HAYLEY FOR PLUGGING ME! That was so nice of you. :)
While you’re all at it, click on her name above and start following her. There are many musings on her Tumblr about feminism and social justice, which are just generally awesome things to think about.
