Tumblr’s so angry today. The only thing I’ll say on the issue is this: should pay and will pay are VERY different things. If it were that easy, wouldn’t BP just shell over the money and manpower now and “poof!” everything’s better? I’m not donating because i need to research the cause first (like you all should), but let’s not throw the baby out with the oily bathwater because we “think BP should pay.” You know what, a lot of people should pay for a lot of things, but never will.

I’m agreeing with the above comment.  But I really do wish that BP would just own up to their shit, clean up, and pay up.  I am sick of seeing all the destruction.  I don’t want anyone else to get hurt.  I don’t want any more animals to die.  I want them to plug the fucking hole and own up to their faulty construction and business practices.
